We are committed to several associations in order to give meaning to our cloudy adventure.
Our umbrellas wouldn't exist without the rain that feeds our planet ! That's why we decided to go the extra mile for the environment by designing all of our umbrella fabrics and covers from recycled plastic bottles.
The rPET® material we use is certified by the international organization Control Union. This assures you that your next Beau Nuage umbrella and its cover will have given a second life to a plastic bottle that would otherwise have polluted a beach or an ocean somewhere in the world...
ACCESS TO DRINKING WATER
Rain and water are at the heart of the Beau Nuage adventure. We try to bring joy and poetry on rainy days, but we must not forget that water is a vital element to which very many people in the world have little or no access. It was therefore natural for us to turn to an association to help them. We are very happy to be partners of the association Solidarités International, which has been fighting for more than 35 years for access to drinking water for all. Since June 2019, we have made donations for each cloudy product ordered on our site. Each product ordered represents an average of 10 hours of access to drinking water for a household!
PROFESSIONAL INTEGRATION, RECYCLING AND DONATION
Folding umbrellas are often of poor quality, do not resist when there is wind and have a very short lifespan. In order to avoid these inconveniences at all costs, Beau Nuage attaches particular importance to the manufacture, the choice of materials but also and above all to the quality control of each of its umbrellas. Today, we are the only umbrella brand to test almost all of our umbrellas. This titanic work is carried out in partnership with the ESAT of Antibes, which employs people with disabilities. They meticulously check and test each Beau Nuage umbrella and cover. They are the guarantors of the proper functioning and quality of finish of all our cloudy products.
